Thank you for your interest in submitting a wedding!
Here at The Green Bride I am always on the look out for beautiful, real weddings and engagement shoots to feature.
I am interested in lots of different sorts of ‘green’ weddings, from vegan weddings to weddings that celebrate the natural landscape to vintage weddings that show old can be beautiful! If this sounds like you, then please do get in touch.
It is an honour to be able to share your special day with the world and every story and image will be treated with the utmost love and respect.
Couples and photographers are welcome to submit weddings. The story behind the images is also important to me so some words from the happy couple are needed! Couples, you will need the permission of your photographer before you submit a wedding.
Full details of how to submit a wedding can be found below.
What can be submitted?
Any wedding or engagement shoot that has taken place in the last 24 months. I can not use any wedding or engagement shoot that has been featured on another wedding site or blog (photographers, this does not include your own website). I ask for exclusivity for 12 weeks after being featured on The Green Bride before you submit elsewhere.
What are the first steps?
Send an email to email@example.com. Put Wedding Submission as the subject line and include a one-paragraph description of the wedding in the email. Please highlight whether you are submitting as a couple or as a photographer. Include 30 photographs in a zip file or include a link to a file sharing site. Include a range of photos-detail shots, group shots etc, that span the wedding day.
What are the next steps?
I aim to respond to all submissions within 14 days. You will always hear back from me with an answer so if you have not heard back by then please feel free to send a follow-up email!
If your wedding is selected then you will need to provide ideally 100 images that span the wedding day. I will send you details of how to provide these. If you are a photographer, I will also provide you with a form to send to the bride and groom so they can share their story.
